Cincinnati Reds vs. Phillies

The beloved Cincinnati Reds will be throwing the first pitch in about an hour . We hope you have a place to view the game in Philadelphia . The Phillies probable pitcher is Oswalt so no need to fear the repeat of the shut out game that Holiday  had against our home team . For more info and game highlights you can check with the official reds homepage at this link  Cincinnati Reds . Arroyo will be pitching for the Reds and were all behind the home team . You can listen or watch at the homepage and there's lots of great links to Reds blogs and sign up for the Redlegs newsletter delivered directly to your e-mail.  There's still tickets available for the game here in Cincinnati on Sunday . Parking may prove to be a challenge because of multiple events scheduled so come early to score a good parking space they'll be few and far between and expect to pay a little more too. The Bengals game , Reds game and Disney on ice should make for a real parking and traffic nightmare check-up with The Chronicle and get all the traffic in real time Enjoy the perfect weather and GOOD LUCK REDS !!!!

Stardust

Stardust  by Jessie Henson for S.C.P.A. Esme Kenney memorial

dedication of memorial art "Stardust" for Esme Kenney

Esme Kenney Memorial Art Dedication Cincinnati 2010

This video is at the private memorial and then public display...Entitled “Stardust (you were only waiting for this moment to be free),” it was created by artist Jessie Henson, an SCPA graduate. It reflects the memory of Esme,(Esme was a 13-year old student at SCPA who was murdered while jogging near her home in March 2009.) as well as the memory of every child whose life has been cut short. It is the family’s hope that the students at the school will find laughter, joy and lasting solace beneath it for years to come.
